Our approach

A clearer view of commercial performance.

Financial reports tell you what has been recorded. Contracts tell you what was agreed. The distance between the two deserves attention.

Overview

Kardivon is building independent commercial controls to help organizations investigate differences between contractual commitments and financial records. The aim is not to replace the finance team. It is to make important questions easier to ask and the answers easier to support.

01 / 03

Start with what was agreed

Commercial oversight begins with a reliable reference point: the applicable agreement, effective pricing, approved changes and the relevant period. Without that context, a numerical difference is only a number.

Finance teams need to distinguish binding terms from assumptions, and historical terms from those in force today.

02 / 03

Follow the transaction

The next step is to connect relevant records: what was delivered, what was invoiced and what was adjusted. A useful control preserves the connection between an observation and its underlying documents.

That means acknowledging legitimate credits, timing differences and exceptions rather than treating every mismatch as lost value.

03 / 03

Make reviews repeatable

Good controls can be repeated by a different reviewer and reach the same calculation. Clear ownership, a documented decision and an appropriate escalation process matter as much as the initial detection.

Kardivon is developing this approach for finance leaders, operating groups and investment teams responsible for complex commercial activity.

Questions and answers

A closer look.

Does Kardivon replace existing financial systems?

No. Our approach is to help teams review commercial records while keeping their established accounting and approval systems in place.

Is every discrepancy a recoverable amount?

No. A difference is a reason to investigate. Whether any action is justified depends on the contract, underlying transactions and the relevant context.
